She is a renowned athlete within American History. She's one of just six females in the history of sports who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She was the winner of the World Cup 82 times. One of the finest skiers around the globe and the most successful American ski racer has decided to retire after the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. Her retirement came after a long list of ailments. Social media was the method used to announce her retirement.
