Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian as well as an American artist and singer. There are more than 20 albums. DiFranco's songs are classified as folk or alternative rock. But, they are influenced by hip-hop, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco is frequently regarded as a feminist icon and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the founder in DIY music. She was one of the very first musicians to launch their own labels in the year 1990. DiFranco is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco.
