Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and acrobat. Many people know her from her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' However, she considers herself primarily as a musician. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled into when she was just nine years old. The first time she began to study professional music when she was twelve. At 13, she began writing songs. The first time she recorded an album in the age of 14. From then on she's never looked back. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic roots even though she was raised in English only, and did not live in Mexico. Her aim is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs and learning the language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was picked to perform for The X Factor's first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia was selected out of a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" no votes by judges during the live audition phase in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however following "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live performances.
