Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. Her main focus is actress, but also a songwriter and singer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". While she is a performer but her main passion is music. She maintains that music is her primary passion. She is experimenting with since she was nine years old. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough, that she started formal training. In 2013, she picked up songwriting and recorded her first album. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia, born in America, but has Hispanic ancestry. Though she grew up speaking solely English and was never in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic heritage. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she strives to keep the culture alive. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, can be a perfect example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia got selected as a result of an YouTube video and was awarded the judges' four "yes" vote from the judge during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were placed into a group for the rest of the auditions. They were eliminated during the 5th week during the live show.
